Hi again! welcome to a Durarara!! 01 review :)
This episode was decent we start out with the main character Mikado Ryugamine meeting a old friend Masaomi Kiba to start a new life in a big city and school. As Masaomi gives his friend a tour of the local area, we learn this place isn’t so safe there are gangs, odd fighters,informants,kidnappings and a urban legend of a “headless rider” cool modern twist on the The Legend of Sleepy Hollow story. We also meet various people in the city some of Masaomi’s classmates, other people so this show has a ton of characters which is nice. The music is great and the artwork is different, i liked the character designs from Yozakura Quartet so these work for me.

Next episode Mikado goes to school and meets more of Masaomi’s friends, i am looking forward to meeting a unusual character who throws vending machines, mostly because hes Battler from Umineko no naku koro ni. Verdict for this show definitely watch! stay tuned for more! =)

This show really shows a lot of promise. I’m looking forward to it a lot. I did the review and the only thing I didn’t like was how the black guy looked like a complete oaf because of his stupid over-exaggerated lips. But I swear, the pic of the “neko-ranger” slashing that guy, I tried to get a good cap of that like 15 times -_-” lol.
P.S. Oh, and HOWD YOU GET THOSE SMILEYS?????????????

Agreed Fas this show has some promise, the sushi worker? yes agreed! same thing i couldn’t get the Slash in half picture either, as for the smiles i dunno where ruby got them from.
This show was pretty coool~ the chat box thing was pretty weird. There’s so many mysteries and stuff that was introduced, the second ep explained a little more of it :) but this is proab one of my top fav show this season ^^
Awesome i like it too seems like its going to be a fun winter show, i like the designs of the characters well most anyway lol.. i gotta watch episode two tonight then post sometime =)
