Yes the darker than black gaiden is out and subbed! well it’s been subbed for a while now, sorry for the delay,,it took me 2 weeks to finally post something about this xD I’m surprised that no one was going crazy over it xD did anyone even know that this OVA existed? maybe it’s just me but I didn’t find many blogs that was blogging this. *BEWARE! do not read any more if you haven’t watched it yet! *SPOILERS AHEAD!* well all of you probably have watched it already.

Summary:
Hei is fighting 3 contractors, and defeats them as usual. Yin shows up and Hei walks away with her, then he sees this dog and then sees Yin in her observation ghost form, and wakes up from the nightmare. Hei and Yin goes to rent a room in the hotel, Yin begins to disobey Hei and does what she wants. Hei sees Amber at the hotel and is in shocked mode, and goes to flirt with her but Yin caught him cheating on her D: At night Yin tries to kill Amber but failed (Hei stopped her). She tells him that Amber is fake!! and that they should run very very far away. Next day Hei finds out that Amber was a illusion and this fake Amber impostor is actually a man. He freaks out and hurries to find Yin but too bad she got kidnapped. Hei goes to save her but the fake imposter appears! oh but he ended up committing suicide instead. Hei goes hug Yin and leave the place. The fake imposter shows his real self and talks to the dog, and they talk about how Yin too good for Hei,,, and the end!

I was slightly disappointed with this episode, since there wasn’t really anything new that wasn’t in the trailer. I’ll remember not to watch trailer 2 so it doesn’t ruin anything. Overall I really loved this episode! it was AWESOME! ^.^ I was really impatient with this, it took forever to come out and then the moment the subs came out I was probably one of the first to watch it :] but I was too lazy to post anything sorry for the delay.

SO first off I want to talk about Amber (she was one of my most fav characters in dtb), in the trailer I did notice Amber but it didn’t really ring a bell, I thought it was just a guy who looks like her, well, actually no, she was unrecognizable because she’s so MANLY! so after watching this OVA I realized it was Amber haha xD. It was a great idea, I didn’t expect to ever see her ever again, I would have felt really happy to see her if she wasn’t so suspicious.  Turns out that she was a imposter and this imposter seems like a really interesting character! *excitement* I just can’t seem to figure out what his powers are, according to the subs, he has “the power to control people” but it doesn’t really make sense since all he did was make Hei sweat…. so the power to make people sweat? LOL that would be funny, I think the subs were probably wrong, I duno.

And now the Hei x Yin part, it’s also interesting to see how much Yin changed in such a little time, I was expecting gradual change but they managed to fit it all in one episode, she just totally stopped obeying Hei but I do think Hei needs to trust her a little more, and she probably got jealous when Hei was flirting with the fake Amber aww young love ^.^ I don’t recall Yin being so tall, wasn’t she a lot shorter than Hei? like the size of a loli or something? well maybe it’s because I haven’t seen her in so long. Her powers as Izanami is also awakening *excitement* xD I can’t wait to see how powerful she is, and what kind of weakness she has . So I guess it’s official! Hei is getting hooked up with Yin :) I did have a problem with that but got over it at the end of season 2. They make a cute couple ^^

And then there’s that dog which is very mysterious, was it a he or she? can’t remember but I can’t wait to see how IT plays a role in next episodes. Preview pictures looks incredibly boring :/

While surfing the internet I found that a lot of people all over the place, fourms, videos comments, yahoo and others are really confused about this and there isn’t any info in ANN about this nor did I find any blog that cares enough about DTB so I’ll clarify again :] There are 4 OVA from the blu-ray dvd that will be aired in japan or something like that.., this is only one of the 4 that aired so far and these episodes cover the gap between season 1 and 2, this is not a season 3 here. The next one airs in March + a couple days for it to be subbed = maybe around spring break? It took a couple of days for this to come out (waited so long) and subbed (which was pretty fast).

The trailer for the next episode is also out! [Link] I don’t recommend watching it though, a trailer for a 30 min episode? not worth it, it’s going to spoil everything. My excitement is dying off because I have to wait so long, jeez they should not make the fans wait so long, it would have been better if they released it at the same time T_T
