Here’s the list of Spring 2010 anime that’s coming out~ Big thanks to ChartFag, ANN, Myanimelist, Youtube, Google and others for all their resources. Trailers and such will be updated whenever they come out. Most of these shows are going to be released in April (I think) so there’s plenty of time to figure out what you want to watch.

Some of the info on here might be wrong, for example, the genre is something I just made up lol I’m not 100% sure if it’s correct or not, I just took a wild guess. Let me know if there’s any errors/wrong or broken links on here. Okay let’s begin! ^.^ I like to list everything in alphabetical order:

ANGEL BEATS

STORYLINE: In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the other hand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.

RUBY: Hmm at first I wasn’t very interested in this and the cover picture looks very plain (I tend to judge a series based on their covers), but after watching the trailer I changed my mind o_o this show looks so awesome! Definitely on the top of my list for this spring.

FOSH: Artwork on this show looks really great looking forward to seeing it has a bit of a bleach feel i think with the weapons or D greyman.

Arakawa under the Bridge

STORYLINE: About a young elite man Riku who has a policy of not being in debt to anyone. But he ends up owing his life to a strange homeless girl named Nino who saves his life on the banks of Arakawa River.

RUBY: LOL I think I have the wrong trailer or something, it could be some twisted joke or whatever but I had a good laugh xD surely this can’t be what the real series is going to look like.It seems like a really decent show to me, nothing really special. On Chartfag’s chart the cover had a star head dude in it, which is a another big LOL for me, I refuse to watch anything as ridiculous as a man having a star as his head ~.~  New trailer! RUBY: Err a virgin,, with dreams of having 100 sex partners? interesting storyline. Well I’m like a anti-Hentei person so chances of me watching blogging this yet alone watching it is very very low.

FOSH: Hmmmm sports, not a huge sports fan but waiting on a trailer first but like most sports anime I do like over the top omg power up sport shots wondering if this will be filled with that lol.

Heroman

STORYLINE: A collaboration between Studio Bones and Stane Lee, the story centers on a boy named Joey, who lives on the west coast of the United States. He discovers a simple toy robot, to discover it becomes “Hero Man”, a giant robot he can pilot and fight against evil, alien invaders and other threats.

RUBY: Oh god LOL just looking at the picture is hard enough… Heroman..sounds no different from Superman or any other super hero. BONES studio is making this so it might be good, I’ll watch the first couple episodes and see how I like it

FOSH: Love bones! everything they have made I have really enjoyed story line seems a bit like Line barrels minus the main character dying of course or more like Xamd either way sounds cool plus i share the same name as the main character…lawl plus Stan Lee is working on it too! bet he makes a animated appearance in this lol…

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

STORYLINE: Chizuru Yukimura is the daughter of a dutch-trained doctor who vanishes on a trip to Kyoto. In search of her father, Chizurau sees a Shinsengumi member transform into an ogre. After being captured, it’s revealed that this change was caused by her father – She joins the Shinsengumi in search of her father, and the cure.

RUBY: I’m guessing this is going to be based on PS2 game, the characters look awesome, storyline sounds interesting, now all we need is a trailer of some sort. Definitely going to watch this ^.^

Hetalia Axis Powers Season 3

RUBY: Hmm, I don’t know… this kinda gives me the creeps, the eyes are so big and creepy. Good thing the trailer had some nice happy music to it xD it can get very addictive just hearing it once. The art style is amazing! I just don’t like those super pale white people… very creepy.

RUBY: At first I thought: LOL WTF, Iron man is going to be made into a anime? HAHAHA THAT’S FUNNY. I can’t deny that I still think that way.. but after watching the teaser, I’m left speechless. This actually doesn’t look as bad as it sounds, heck it even looks better than the actual movie itself. Everything was so intense, look at the shiny metal and all the flying rockets, awesome :3 ~

FOSH: Really excited to see that artwork looks amazing ! i wonder if they plan on doing them all based on the Avengers..must be trying to hype the live action movies.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

RUBY: I’m really looking towards this show, I’m just really into romance this season, I’m definitely going to watch this, the food looks yummy too.

Kiss x Sis

STORYLINE: Keita has two older step-sisters, Ako and Riko, but since they aren’t related by blood, they love him in a lustful way. K-ON season II

RUBY: Although I’m not the biggest fan of K-ON! I’m really curious to see what season 2 is about. Season 2 came out so much faster than I expected it to, I guess it must have been really popular. I completely forgot what the first season was about, I just remembered that I really liked the last episode :3

FOSH: Seems good I wasn’t a huge fan but got hooked thanks to my brother, definitely watch it thats for sure.

Mayoi Neko Overrun!

STORYLINE: The story revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki, a boy who lives with his older “sister” Otome, though the two are not related by blood. Otome runs a decrepit confectionery story called Stray Cats. One day, Otome picks up a mysterious beautiful girl off the streets.

RUBY: Seems like the moe show for this season, the kitty in the trailer looks so cute ^.^ I just cannot stand the meowing the whole time. The girl in the picture reminds me of Taiga from Toradora for some reason, they just look really similar. And the things with the cats seems similar to Nyan Koi.  So a combination of both? it can possibly turn out to be good~

Rainbow – Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin

RUBY: Life of gangsters? I’ll pass. Whenever I see anything that says 1900 or something in the year 1800 or even 1500, I don’t even bother looking at it, it makes the show sound so old.

RUBY: I’m not really sure what to think of this, it sounds like really boring history stuff to me.

RUBY: Nope,,don’t like it already, first off the trailer wasn’t even subbed so I had no idea what they were saying and it seems exactly like Bakemonogatari with all the blank colors scene and everything. My prediction is that I’m going to be dropping this on first ep :/

STORYLINE: Continuation of the Tales of Symphonia the Animation OVA. Based on the Playstation game of “Tales of Symphonia”. Two worlds exist, both unaware of the existance of the other. On the perishing world, the Choosen one Colette Brunel, sets out on her journey accompanied by her best friends Lloyd Irving and Genis Sage to restore that world’s mana by awakening the Spirits and becoming an angel while learning the truth behind the World Regeneration.

RUBY: I didn’t play Tales of Symphonia yet, actually I just finished playing Dawn of the new world which is after Tales of Symphonia so that’s how I got into this series. Tales of Symphonia: the animation (first season) consists of only 4 OVAs and I’m guessing that there is going to be 4 more OVAs for this that is going to be released which is so exciting! xD

FOSH: Never played the game but enjoyed Tales of the abyss and played a bit of Tales of Vesparia maybe watch it we shall see.

Black Rock Shooter (OVA)

STORYLINE (Could possibly be wrong):

The famous 3DPV by Anomaro-P gave Black★Rock Shooter a plotline and backstory, which involves her sister betraying her and turning evil and Black★Rock Shooter being forced to kill her sister to stop the destruction.

RUBY: Probably the most popular show that will be airing this spring, first off I have to say I feel absolutely humiliated because I been calling this Black STAR shooter the whole time instead of Black ROCK shooter on other people’s blogs -_- but anyways, I’m really excited for this :D although I’m not sure if the storyline is correct or not. Watching the trailer is amazing enough.

FOSH: Yes yes and yes looking forward to this one for a while now love the animation not sure on the story yet but a watch for sure!

Eden of The East the Movie II: Paradise Lost

Alright, I got this thing sorted out. There are two movies for Eden of the east, the first movie: The King of Eden aired in theaters (Japan) last year on Nov-Dec and the Blu-ray/DVD will come out this month:  March 24th 2010 and then it’ll probably take a couple of days for it to be subbed. The second movie: Paradise lost (sequel) will air in March 13 in theaters only in Japan but there hasn’t been a date for the release of the DVD for the second movie yet so I’m guessing it’ll take 4 months for it to come on Blu-ray and that would mean July-Aug will be when we can finally see the second movie.

RUBY: YAY MOVIE MOVIE!, At first I was really confused with the dates since I thought the movie was released already, I been waiting for such a long time, I’m really really excited :D

FOSH: Not bad loved the anime series kept me guessing the whole time as for the first coming out in Nov thats the first i have heard of that, maybe my anime site is lazy to upload that one ill go search the internet later.

Overall it looks like spring is packed with a lot of shows to good toward too, I don’t plan to be blogging any of the series for sure since I still have my current shows to do. After being away for so long I’m starting to feel very lazy and not wanting to come on xD I think I’ll have to extend my break a little :3
