RUBY: The main girl strongly reminds me of Taiga from Toradora, they seem really similar. Let’s see I’m not really interested in watching the show, it looks dull and boring.

FOSH: After watching the first episode I really enjoyed the mixture of fairy tale elements, definitely going to be a fun show, great animation and fun characters. Also love the way Ryoko Okami fights using the cat like boxing gloves

Amagami SS

RUBY:A romance show eh?? looks decent, nothing special. I’ll probably end up watching the whole series when it finishes since I don’t like waiting for these kind of shows.

FOSH: Looks to be a light and fun romance show a few interesting characters and familiar voices from other shows mostly the VA of Mikoto Misaka from Rail gun

RUBY:I’m not a fan of medieval times stuff but this show looks really cool! I’m excited ^^ I love all the magical and fantasy stuff~

FOSH: With a strange name that makes you go huh? legend looks odd and more comedic than anything to me, sort of reminds me of Familiar of Zero with the setting being fantasy and magic. From the trailer I liked the character designs and the environment as well, chances of blogging this might be slim compared to many of the other shows might be fun to watch rather than review but we shall see! might be a great show or a huge flop.

RUBY: OMG season 2!! The manga is super awesome. Season one only followed the manga storyline half way through then changed totally which was alright, I wanted to see it stick with the manga a little more. The main character is really cute but this personality is too innocent & happy, I liked Ciel better and I can’t tell if the butler is Sebastian or not. After watching the trailer it seems to have a similar storyline to the first season which seems really boring, I was hoping for something new.

STORYLINE:Sekirei: Pure Engagement is the continuation to the first season. It follows the lazy but intelligent Minato Sahashi who becomes the master of a girl called Musubi, one of 108 Sekirei. They are beautiful men and women that fight in competition held by the mysterious MBI corporation.

RUBY: Although it seems like there’s going to be boobs bouncing everywhere, I probably going to end up watching this. The trailer looks really cool and good quality, I like all the magical powers and stuff, not sure about blogging though. It’s a maybe.

STORYLINE: The world is plunged into chaos when an outbreak of supposed disease transmitted by bites causes people to become the living dead. In Japan a group of students and a nurse find their high school overrun, and must group together to escape and survive.

RUBY: This looks like its going to be so awesome! ZOMBIES!! wow, definitely not recommended for little kids. Storyline sounds awesome and quality looks really good. Can’t wait! xD

FOSH:This anime looks really great for a fun summer show full of zombies and tough students who have to survive against the undead, with plenty of horror and mixture of ecchi filled fan service. Really enjoyed the manga from what I read and saw I am interested in seeing what they keep in and what they remove, this is a great change from all the vampire themed shows out there so its nice to see zombies. Chances of me blogging this might be high appears to be a popular show for this summer, makes me wish Capcom would do a Resident Evil anime much like their Devil May Cry. So look forward to seeing this on Banana Muffin! ;D

RUBY: Don’t think I’m watching this.

FOSH: Strike Witches was a show I passed when it first came out thinking oh this is going to be some loli show, but it turned out to have a pretty interesting story along with some fun characters to watch there were a few episodes of fan service things but what show doesn’t have that. I am interested in seeing what the next season holds with the girls being older I wonder if they will have a brand new cast of characters, or bring in the previous characters back for more crazy flying gun action. Chances of blogging this might be slightly slim.

RUBY: This might sound a little silly but when I was watching the trailer I was covering my eyes the whole time and closed it half way through since I was scared something was going to pop out at the end xD ironically I’m a big fan of horror stuff so I’m definitely going to watch this!

FOSH: Story for this show looks really great has a bit of Higurashi feel to it with the mystery of how people are dying off in this village, great animation and cool character designs looks to be a fun show.

FOSH:Really enjoyed the first season really getting into all of the over the top crazy fights, the story was a bit boring for me as I was more wanting to see people get the crap kicked out of them. So looking forward for more crazy quotes from Date Masamune.

STORYLINE:Kio Kakazu is a high school freshman living in Okinawa. During a memorial service for a family ancestor a mysterious girl with cat ears appears before him introducing herself as an alien called Eris, bringing trouble with her.

RUBY: The girl ears are really adorable! Unfortunately that’s not enough to catch my interest.

FOSH: Story sounds a bit generic a bit like Toloveru with a alien girl who appears and brings trouble with her. But this time its a cat girl, dunno about this show might be a bit repetitive in the long run.

- I’m done, finished my exams since last week and ready for summer break! YAY
- These past few days, people in real life been inviting me out everywhere so I couldn’t get on until today
- Been addicted to a game after exams haha xD
- Yesterday I watched Avatar the last airblender and it was pretty cool, went to buy some manga and then went to the bank and mall, then watched fireworks for Canada day so yeah pretty busy
- Today woke up late, went to my grandma’s party, went shopping, casino for the first time and went back to my grandma’s house then finally came home, so exhausting
- I’ll go catch up on all the series I left off soon-ish
- I’ll make a summer post by tmr, I wanted to get it done sooner but was just soo busy xD
- I’m going to get a part time job on Monday!!

Unlike last time, I actually have a reason for my irregular postings:
FINAL EXAMS!!

Well my real final exams is in June but I have in class finals coming up in 3 weeks-ish and that means I have to spend every minute to the very second studying xD jkjk It’s just that I can’t watch any anime cuz it takes too much of my time T_T so that means no Angel beats and no Hakuouki T_T!!! which sucks. I’m literally aiming to get 100% or even 90 on my in class finals so yeah wish me luck :D (P.S. I’m still going to be around ^^)

Episode 3 “The Flower that Blooms in the Twilight”

Summary:

Kondou and his gang of bishes barges in the shop and announce that they’re arresting anyone who resists. The Choshuu and the bishes starts fighting each other meanwhile Chizuru goes to inform Hijikata and his army that the meeting is in Ikedaya. Heisuke and Souji gets to the top floor only to met by two unknown men, Heisuke gets smashed into the wall while Souji struggles against the blond guy. Hijikata and his army arrives and to come to aid, Hijikata stops the Aizu clan clan from interfering. Chizuru charges in and goes to the top floor only to witnesses Souji coughing blood, she stops him from fighting anymore and the blond guy escapes. Hijikata awards Chizuru by letting her go out on a date with Sanno and Shinpachi.

I certainly didn’t expect to see the villains to show up so fast! whoa my new favorite character is the blond guy, he looks so evil <333 !! I love evil looking bishes xD and he totally beat up Souji >_> who is now my second favorite character.

Over half episode time was spent on the raid which was probably the most boring thing I ever seen in my life! I mean people are just standing there with no effort into fighting, sure there was a lot of sword slashing and blood but it was just so dull.

What really interested me is the two unknown guys who were already on the top,  they claims not to be Choshuu members then I wonder why they were even there and what their goal was. 
Chizuru was pretty much very useless, and couldn’t draw out her sword when she was attacked, so am I annoyed yet? surprisingly no, I don’t mind but maybe later on. It’s great to see everyone starting to open up to her and it’s funny to see Hijikata show so much emotion than he did over the past episodes, I guess he’s also finally opening up to Chizuru too.

I’ll remember not to expect too much when it comes to fighting, I’m looking forward to learning more about the two mystery guys :D

Takeyama (aka Christ) is introduced into the gang for the next mission which is to break into Angel’s room and hack her computer. Otonashi practices shooting cans then meets a GirlDeMo fangirl Yui and later runs into Iwasawa who decides to take a break from practice. She tells him her life story of how her parent were always fighting and discovering music turned her life around. One day she ended up in the hospital due to brain injury and lost the ability to speak due to her parent’s fight but didn’t reveal how she actually died. The gang breaks into Angel’s room and starts computer hacking. GirlDeMo’s live concert is stopped by teachers and Tenshi, Iwasawa grabs the guitar that was about to be taken away and sings. She discovers what her dreams/reason to live and disappears. Back at the HQ Yuri questions why Tenshi abilities was not given by god.

This was such a sad episode T_T I’m glad that I wasn’t caught off by surprise I was expecting this to happen due to me being slow at watching this and got spoilers from blogs that I usually visit. I would have been more sad if I had no idea what was going to happen. Speaking of blogs, I find that there are like a gazillion of other blogs following Angel beats, so I’m debating whether I should keep up or not =/

Iwasawa was one of my favorite characters, it’s really sad to see her go, now I wonder who’s going to be in charge of GirlDeMo now? Iwasawa past was pretty sad but not as tragic as Yuri, it makes me wonder how they died since it wasn’t actually revealed. So the whole point of the afterlife world is to live till you find the meaning of life or something that couldn’t be finished before death so you can rest in peace and finally move on is what I’m guessing

With the whole breaking into Tenshi’s room was hilarious! I love how everyone acts so serious like it’s some important mission when it’s clearly a childish act. Otonashi is so funny, he’s the only one that seem to act normal around here. The live concert was really cool, I’m really amazed at how high quality the graphics are and everything is just so shiny, I bet a lot of money has been put into making the show.

Now that Yuri knows God isn’t real and Tenshi might not be a real angel, I wonder what’s she going to do? Tenshi’s abilities were developed on her own just like how they make their own weapons (uhh I wonder how they make weapons in the first place? xD) I wonder if they’re going to continue to rebel against Tenshi. Anyways since Iwasawa doesn’t show up in the ED I get the idea that we’re going to be learning of all everyone’s tragic past and having them disappear which isn’t so bad, at least I’m prepared :]

Summary:
Natsu struggles in his battle with Aria and almost lost his magical powers in the process until Erza comes to the rescue. Aria opens his eyes and prepares to do his ultimate attack but Erza defeats him in one swoop meanwhile Reedus fights against the intruders who are members from the Phantom gulid. He get overpowered by them and Gajeel captures Lucy easily, Loke comes in in time to stop him but ends up getting beat up by everyone then trapped in the enemy’s mirror magic. Erza tells Natsu to awaken his real powers to protect the guild and Lucy, Makarov wakes up after feeling Natsu powering up. Mira, Grey and Elfman meets up with Erza then Master Jose comes along and blast them all away only leaving Erza who seems to stand a chance against him. Natsu comes to Lucy’s rescue in his all powered up form and prepares to fight Gajeel.

Alright so I’m only one episode behind but I’ll try to catch up :3

I was all hyped up to see Erza vs Aria but it was disappointment, all the element 4 members are seems incredibly weak. Even when Erza all injured she was able to beat Aria but I doubt she’ll stand a chance against Master Joe and that would be when Makarov comes to the rescue! well that’s what I’m guessing~ I wonder what’s the deal with Lucy? why is she so important? she seems like a very useless person atm but hopefully we’ll see next next ep. There was a lot of mystery about Loke in here and this Karen person who looked very evil with glowing eyes and everything maybe it has something to do with why he avoids Lucy. I find it very funny how Erza asked Natsu awaken his powers, if he could get stronger he should have gone that in the first place. Hopefully he’ll be able to get rid of Gajeel once and for all, it gets annoying seeing him over and over again.

Yin has a dream then wakes up to see Hei watching over her, he promises to protect her. Next day they go get fake passport, Yin says it’s useless to run away and they should ambush the enemies instead. So they get the a guy to spread rumors about selling a doll with a full body observation spirit.
A woman and twin brothers are interested and willing to pay a large sum of money but Yin shows off some of her evil side who has attitude problems. Turns out that the woman was going to kill them anyways, so they hurry run away. Claude goes to kill the brother that was after Yin and the guy.
Hei goes to fight the woman but ends up getting beaten, evil Yin comes to save him and kills the woman then disappears before the real Yin shows up. Hei faints, the other brother comes in only to get killed by 3 unknown people. Then we get Claude flirting with Madame Oreille and a Youko x Mina moment.

Thoughts

The episode was awesome! there was more fighting and blood spilled compared to the last OVA. I just love how all these minor characters die so fast, you don’t even know their names at all. I definitely like the new evil Yin, shes so cool now xD I still like the old Yin too. Hei seems to be growing weaker or maybe the enemies are just getting stronger? he probably need Yin come and save him more often. At least things are starting to come together and we get to know more about Izanami, but there are still more mysteries.

I was really surprised to see Youko and Mina again, didn’t expect them to show up and oh! they’re already interested in each other! Love at first sight xD we’re probably going to see what they’re up to in the next ep, it’s a real mystery to me. After not watching DTB for such a long time I kinda forgot who’s who, maybe I need to re-watch season 1 and 2 again. Now the only ones to worry about is:

Enemy one: Claude
Enemy two: the people who saved Hei & Yin
Eenemy three: Youko and gang
Enemy four: Evil Yin

My newest favorite character is Claude! he’s so cool, and powerful. I’m pretty sure he has the powers to manipulate people but to create illusions? not so sure. Maybe that has something to do with the dog that’s always around him. There’s still the mystery of who’s he working for or why he’s after Yin. So far he managed to survive, I hope he continues to live through the next episode too ^.^

The good thing about me watching this late is that I don’t have to wait that long to see the next OVA which is coming out sometime in the end May I think, I’ll go find out later.. I’m really excited!! there’s only 2 OVAs left, I can’t wait to see what happens~ Trailer for OVA 3 [Click here]

Episode 1:

Kou the main protagonist, gets his pants pulled off by some kids, he goes to climb up a bridge to get it but gets unfortunately he falls and was on the verge of drowning till Nino a homeless Venusian (born from Venus) goes to save him. Kou was taught to never be in debt but now he’s in-debt to Nino, he starts to freak out. To repaid his debt, Nino requests that Kou becomes her lover. If she doesn’t see him for over a day then she’ll forget, so Kou decides to live under the bridge with her. In order to live near the riverbank, he has to see the chief of the village and be given a name. The Chief turns out to be a man wearing a kappa (Japanese sea creature) costume. Kou is given the name “Recruit” or Rec for short but we’ll still call him Kou

Episode 2

Nino comes to visit Kou and give him fish to eat, he finally starts to see Nino as cute girl (aww <3). To get to know her better he tries to think of how to talk to a Venusian and starts to imagine strange things, it was pretty hilarious. Then they go take turns in the bath, Nino goes and washes Kou’s hair which made him think of his father. There’s a welcoming party for Kou where he meets a whole bunch of weirdos, a guy who only walk on white lines, a star head dude, twin metal heads, and finally the funniest one of all – a sister who is actually a man dressed in a nun costume.

Thoughts:

The OP was really nice, I liked all the soft colors and the artwork, its really cute. As for the song itself well I duno, didn’t hate it or liked it, maybe it’ll grow on me. And the ED theme song? well I didn’t really pay attention to it xD.

Another Shaft production! YAY! well, not that I really care who the studio is, I think Shaft and bones are the only studios I know of since I see them getting mentioned a lot, I never really paid attention to them. This show reminds me of Bakamonogatari except better! and funnier! I didn’t think Bakamonogatari was that great, it was just a really boring show at times but Arakawa is hilarious, I laughed a lot at the scenes like in episode one Kou constantly has a asthma attack! haha. Comedy shows are usually not my thing because the humor dies off eventually. What makes everything so interesting is the insane characters, everyone is just so messed up. It seems to me that Kou is the most normal person, hopefully he doesn’t get messed up more due to hanging around all these mentally ill people and it looks like he already made enemies (star head dude and metal heads) due to his relationship with Nino, I can already predict what episode 3 is going to be about. I guess I’ll keep watching until it gets boring, so forgive me if I happen to drop this midway.

Episode one:

Chizuru (disguised as a boy) is chased by some guys, who gets killed by these crazy zombie men who then gets killed by normal Shinsengumi men. Chizuru gets taken back to their headquarters for witnessing what happened and there she meets a whole bunch of people, I’ll list them in the order of most popular to least: Hijikata, Souji and Saitou, Heisuke and Shinpachi, Kondou, Sannan and Sano they all sit in a small little circle and nice little chat, and even invited Chizuru to have dinner with them. She explains how she’s looking for her missing father and the Shinsengumi people happens to be looking for him too so they decided to let her stay. Heisuke gets punched in the face for mentioning another group of Shinsengumi (probably the villains)

Episode two:

Haijkata and Sannan returns from their trip, Sannan apparently injured his arm, so he goes all emo hiding in his room and refuses to eat food. Chizuru attempt to convince him to eat his food and he does surprisingly. Souji agree to let Chizuru go out to search for her father if she’s skilled enough so Saitou decides to test her skills, *1 second fight scene* haha it’s obvious who the winner was but Chizuru still got to go out and almost got killed! but thanks to her, they were able to find spies and hidden weapons at the shop. So now the bishie gang decided to go out to bust the Choshuu spies? hideout. Since no one is really sure whether it’s in Shikokuya or Ikedaya (the shop), Kondou the captain decides to split forces. Hijikata and most of the Shinsengumi people will go to Shikokuya while he takes the rest. Turns out the hideout was in Ikedaya and Chizuru goes with some ninja guy to inform Hijikata.

Thoughts:

NOTE* I wasn’t sure what Shinsengumi meant, so I searched it up, correct me if I’m wrong but it means police force.

Anyways… I LOVE this show, it’s so awesome. The OP was really catchy and I love the ED theme song.

I’m surprise to see that there are only 13 episodes, guess it’s going to be a really short series. I’m planning on watching all the way, so far there was just a lot of talking, I don’t see how any more disappointing it can get, I’m really enjoying it so far! Probably the main reason I like this show is all the bishies! xD but none of the bishies really stand out much and I still have some trouble remembering the names, 2 of them look so alike. The graphics are really nice and the main protagonist is alright, she seems kinda useless right now but I hope that will change sometime soon, it doesn’t bother me much anyways.

There seems to be some dark secret that the Shinsengumi are trying to keep from everyone, I’m guessing it has something to do with the zombie/failed soldiers, Chizuru’s father probably has something to do with all of this since he’s a doctor and the Shinsengumi are looking for him too, maybe he got kidnapped and working for the bad guys. I can’t wait to see the villains! which is probably the blond guy in the OP, he looks very evil indeed >:) My only complaint is that nothing really happens in each episode, it just gets me so impatience and dying for the next ep, now that all the talking is over, I hope there’s some action in episode 3 I look toward what’s going to happen next :D

First off, I want to apologize for just suddenly skipping at least 20 episodes, I guess the first couple episodes of Fairy tail was extremely boring and slow, but after that it started to get me interested again. I didn’t have much time on my hands back then so I couldn’t blog about it.

The reason why I was still interested back around ep 10 and kept up with this series til now was all thanks to Gray! Gray is my most favorite character ^_^

He’s so awesome! although his powers are a bit lame – all he can do is make ice and shape them differently but it’s okay he’s still my favorite character ^^ haha don’t worry I won’t start fangirling or anything …..yeah, I guess I’ll just start off with the latest episode.  OH btw, although last episode (ep 24) was really corny,  it made me all teary seeing how everyone wouldn’t hand over Lucy to the enemy (=^.^=)

If you haven’t been keeping up, here’s whats happening: Fairy tail is in war with some other guild and it turns out that the that other guild is really after Lucy who turns out to be some rich guy’s daughter, so now everyone in Fairy tail is fighting to defend the guild and protect her.

Summary:

Lucy wakes up to find all these people in her room and the especially creepy one is finding someone hiding under her blanket but that was just a nightmare. Meanwhile Elfman does a full body takeover beast soul thing? so he turns into a monster, defeats one of the element 4: Sol, and goes to save Mira. The rest of the fairy tail members are fighting against the shadow flying things. Gray faces off with the third element 4: Juvia (who controls water) but she has a crush on him, which gives him an advantage. After hearing how Gray would give his life for Lucy, Juvia starts to fight more seriously but in the end Gray won and even saved her from falling to her death. So now it’s Natsu vs the last element 4: Aria seems to have some sort of invisible magic.

Thoughts:

The scene between Elfman and Mira was really touching, its good to see that Elfman can control himself now. I’m just really slow or wasn’t paying attention but I had no idea Elfman and Mira was related. Mira claims that it wasn’t his fault that Lisanna (his younger sister) died.. BUT! it totally is! not to be mean or anything but he IS the one who whacked and sent her flying at 1000 km/hr over to the cliff. I wouldn’t have any problems if Mira just admits it was a mistake or accident but he’s partly at fault for her death, the good thing is that he learned to move on and that’s what’s important. It’s interesting to see that Mira was once a S-class wizard, I wonder how she lost her magic powers. I thought that there was going to be some love triangle between Lucy, Natsu and Gray but guess now, since Gray finally found his new lover! or at least I hope so. It was hilarious when Juvia and Gray met, I thought they were going to have a serious fight. The OP was really cool, there was a bunch of new characters and it also appears that Juvia is going to be a new ally ^^

Episode one: Otonashi wakes up in a strange world where people can’t die, he meets Yuri and joins her gang of rebellions. Their only enemy is the “angel” and school president Tenshi – who doesn’t seem like the bad guy here since she’s trying to keep everything in order. Anyways Yuri and gang decides to go steal lunch tickets. So basically there was just a lot of introduction to all these new characters and a lot of talking, then they finally they go into action.  Students gather at the live concert while Otonashi and others try to hold back Tenshi from interfering. They use giant fans to blow away the meal tickets from the student, so the mission was successful.

Episode two: The next mission is the gather more weapons from an underground tunnel, all the traps were reactivated due to sightings of Tenshi, so the point was being able to make it past all the traps. It was kinda like survival of the fittest, I couldn’t remember the names but one guy was smashed against the wall, one guy was too slow and got rolled over by a giant ball, the fat guy got sliced by laser, one drowned? TK got squashed trying to hold up the falling roof and finally for the remaining people: having the floor collapse – only 3 of the 9? survived, but then one of the girl (forgot her name) fell over a water fall while trying to save the fake dog which leads to Otonashi and Yuri remaining, we also learn of a tragic event (break and enter) that left Yuri the only survivor out of her 3 siblings, then moving on. Yuri decides to blow the whole place up, and has a short battle with Tenshi and then, the end!

Thoughts:

The OP was beautifully animated especially having Tenshi play the piano, and the ED was really nice too.
Episode 1 was really boring and uninteresting but ep 2 was enjoyable and the traps were really funny, I like how everyone was just sacrificed like it’s no big deal, at least they come back to life again.

Overall I really like the interesting storyline, and the fact that you can’t die makes everything so funny. The graphics are so awesome, they remind me of Kara no Kyoukai, it’s like a movie, all the colors are very smooth and everything is so high quality. Maybe it’s just me but I notice that sometimes the characters aren’t drawn to proportion like this which makes things awkward because I really take notice in that kind of stuff.

For me Tenshi is the most interesting character, she has a mysterious aura around her, and it’s weird how she doesn’t talk much, so I really wonder what’s going through her head most of the time. Yuri’s past was really tragic and sad, being the only survivor, she didn’t reveal how she died but I’m pretty curious about it. I hope there’s some kind of romance between Otonashi and Yuri x3

Since there’s only 13 episodes I think I’ll be able to make it through, I like how things are going so far. Hopefully I don’t end up dropping this midway or anything.
