HotD 09- Hot date with Saeko!?

Saeko is suprised..

Episode 9!

Welcome back to High school of the dead! today’s episode follows Saeko and Takashi as they head to Saya’s house through the back alleys while avoiding zombies, we start with them looking for some wheels to “borrow” they find a bike shop and find a six wheel go cart looking thing. ( and it floats!! just what we need ) With some new wheels they head to Saya’s house while taking out some zombies and giving the new cart a water test to avoid the zombies from following. Takashi gets Saeko a bit wet with his high flying stunt ( not just once..either..) With a few moments alone from the brain eaters they have a bit of time to talk after Saeko does a wardrobe change, he asks if she ever had a crush on anyone she said yes but didn’t go into any detail. ( asking her out huh Takashi??)

With the zombies away the two head into the park ( picnic? at this hour?! what are you thinking…) Takashi plays jump the stairs again landing in a fountain which soaks Saeko again but doesn’t really have time to argue this point as Takashi sets the cart to draw the zombies in sort of a decoy while they can run away. After she goes nuts taking out a few zombies minus some child zombies that causes her to freeze up against. ( yes they are creeepyyy kids O_O! ) The two of them spend time in a old shrine giving them time to talk more about her past she tells Takashi that she was attacked and used her wooden sword on the guy and enjoyed hurting him giving her a rush.

Takashi then grabs her hand to calm her down and leans in for a kiss I just assume it is they do cut away fast, the next morning they plan to leave but are visited by zombies. ( not sure how they got up the stairs..) Takashi gives Saeko some motivation in a odd way grabbing her chest and squeezing pretty hard ( damn Takashi aggressive much? xD ) Saeko then gets back to her old self and uses a real sword they found to take care of the zombies going a bit crazy giving us a few cool scenes and Saeko getting “wet” while killing them. The episode ends with them arriving at Saya’s house with Alice giving them both a huge hug.

Final thoughts!

Well this episode covered more back story even if it was a small peek into Saeko’s past, I really enjoyed seeing more about her since she is my favorite girl off this show. Was interesting to learn how she really enjoyed using her sword to hurt others not so much interesting but more like a shock I guess you can say. Now Takashi seems to have something for Saeko not sure how close they are now after these events or not I guess they did share kiss in the shrine but not sure if they will do anything else such as being a couple or not, I would think now isn’t the time due to all the crawling dead people. Saya seemed well jealous seeing them that close when they arrived at her house, but I think most already know she has a huge crush on Takashi. I don’t really like Saya that much or Rei either, Any way next week looks to be cool too seeing Saya’s dad I think don’t think I was paying attention to that. Strike Witches2- 08 magic problems?

Yoshika needs more mana!

Episode 8

Welcome back to more high flying fun with the Strike Witches, today’s episode follows more with Yoshika and a new problem she is going through. Seems she is having trouble flying this time and no one can figure out why ( I have when I can’t fly! >.>; ) we start out with Mio training alone outside with her sword a new technique she learned a high powered attack that can take out any powerful neuroi and Yoshika wants to learn this attack as well, but Mio thinks she isn’t ready and says no ( that and it looks like a sword attack…) During a training mission Perrine beats Yoshika easily during a mock fire fight with paintballs, she informs Mio of this and Yoshika is then given a physical but the doctor says there’s nothing wrong there. Yoshika is then ordered by Barkhorn to stay grounded until they can figure out whats wrong with her flight ability.

She tries to use her old broom and finds its the same with that as well, she decides to sleep it off thinking maybe she was working to hard. The next day during a meeting they learn about the Yamato had a few injured crew members and they needed medical attention, Yoshika and Lynette jump into action and are sent to the Yamato to lend a hand. While they play doctor to the soldiers they are attacked by a large neuroi. ( aka Blimp-Roi!! ) The Yamato tries to defend the rest of the ships but falls short leaving the rest to Lynette and Yoshika to attack, Yoshika is then unable to fly in her striker forces Linette to fight solo for now. Yoshika tries and tries to get her striker off the ground as she hears the voice of her father and a new unit appears before her, it is the Magnificent Lightning one of the earliest prototypes. ( yay! new upgrades!! ) With the new Striker unit Yoshika flies faster to save her friend and to take out the enemy in one quick blow. ( you go girl!! ) The episode comes to an end with Minna and Mio looking at the new unit while Yoshika and Lynette sleep.

Final thoughts

Not a bad episode this week great mixture of action,drama and some story this time nice to see more new upgrade weapons for the Witches to use. Was nice to see some drama elements with Yoshika this time seeing her going through some issues and getting a new Striker as well, was cool seeing her in action again but leaves me to wonder what else can they show us we have already seen new Strikers so that much wasn’t too new. Maybe some new guns or weapons next time not sure next week looks to be more of a comedy themed episode and of course fan service filled with them on a beach it seems can’t go wrong there. High school of the dead 8 review!

Welcome back! today’s episode was a bit strange with the choices in effects, but anyway onto the review. We start off with the US president aboard Air force one appears some of the passengers became zombies after the first lady was bitten ( crazy! engrish to follow too..) we then leave them flying over Washington DC which has been set on fire for odd reasons, we then join the students as they cross the river. ( hummer has some power..very nice ) And a little singing between Hirano and Alice ( and more bad English too.. ) before they can continue the adventure the girls need some new clothes to get covered in blood, Hirano takes this chance to show Takashi how to use a gun not as easy as he thinks though. After the girls get new clothes they take the hummer to the streets, while driving around Rei notices they haven’t run into any zombies yet or so she thinks.

They turn a few corners and run into lots of undead friends and a strange wire to block them from the rest of the city, while trying to slow down the nurse slams the hummer against the wire with Takashi and Rei on the roof. Rei is then thrown off the roof ( ouch! that had to hurt…) Takashi then jumps into action to play hero to ReiHirano joins in shouting orders to him on how to use the shotgun. He slowly gets the hang of it till he fails to reload, and for a odd reason he decides to hug Rei during all of this thinking they are going to die. ( perfect time for hugs? ) attempting to use his shotgun to fend of the zombies missing several,

Takashi then uses the gun strapped to Rei for a odd “ripple” effect with her boobs ( yes the effects are strange..) They even go into bullet time as Takashi fires a shot through Saeko as she fights zombies, the bullet passes her chest in a “What the hell happened” moment. As all hope seems lost Saeko and Takashi try and lure the zombies away as none of them pay attention to the two, the zombies get closer as they are then saved by a local group of fire fighters armed with water cannons. The leader takes off her helmet after saving the students to reveal herself being saya’s mom who quickly receives a huge hug from her daughter. ( D’aaawww nice hug ;D ) The episode ends with Takashi and Saeko split from the others running through the back alleys of the area.

Final thoughts!

Strange episode this week mostly due to all the odd special effects using bullet time and ripple effect on Rei’s boobs, felt a bit out of place but then again the show is trying to catch your eyes on those details. Glad they got some help from some other living people glad that Saya is back with her mother, leaves me to wonder if anyone else’s family is still alive with only four episodes left leaves me wondering if they will even get that far I mean there is quite a bit of the manga left up to this point. So I wonder are we going to see a season two? or are we going to get the OVA treatment? and last what was Takashi thinking? hugging Rei during all that guess he was scared for himself and everyone but guess he has his reasons. Next week looks to be fun with Takashi and Saeko alone this time, don’t think Saya will get her chance next lol..well thanks for reading and commenting!

Strike Witches2-07 Bath time and bugs!

So Minna your watching One piece too!?

Episode 7!

Welcome to another Strike Witches review! and what a episode we have this week! mostly a comedy themed episode with lots and I do mean lots of fan service shots! Today’s episode begins with Sanya flying in to the base really sleepy as the other girls are just about to get up, Lucchini is awake hunting for bugs to catch ( Well guess everyone has a hobby…) She discovers a odd bug and puts it in the jar and returns to base for a meeting, which turns out they have a outdoor bath made for the girls which makes them really excited. ( guess they love a good outside bath..) Before they can take the bath Mio gives them orders to run to work up a sweat, meanwhile the bug escapes Lucchini’s jar and starts to knock out the electricity on the base. After a bit of oh my god is this High school of the dead again bath scenes the girls start to get dressed, the bug starts to go for the girls pantsu’s not just one but almost all of the girls get a visit from the bug! well minus Lucchini of course. ( damn! I know D: )

With all of the power cut to the base they figure out the bug was really a Neuroi ( durr red crystal shape dead give away…) The girls then begin the hunt for the evil Bug-roi! as Mio discovers a larger Neuroi near the base and begins to give orders to take it out, in the mean time Minna has had some time to enjoy a bath while the girls go through the crazy pantsu bug ( maybe it just likes the girls O_o;; ) They finally locate the bug as it flies into Minna’s pantsu! she felt the bug and screams ( well that and everyone got a view lol…xD ) Minna ends up “killing” the Neuroi with her pantsu crushing the bug this gains her last 200th kill, the episode ends with a shot of Minna’s new medal a fitting one for her kill.

Final thoughts!

Well not the best episode of the week but fits well with the show, first season had something similar so was waiting for this kind of event to happen to them again. Might not be for everyone it did have the most fan service this time around, all around good episode a bit over the top but most like that. Was nice to see a different side to Minna with her being mostly serious and happy all the time. Next episode looks to get back into them getting air born to fight more Neuroi!, with a few more episodes left it would be nice to see how they end things this time around. Fall list of shows I am going to watch and some I will blog about!

Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto

Very strange mecha designs but looks great ;D

Summary On a cross-shaped island in the South, a mysterious and gigantic humanoid robot known as the “Cybuddy” is discovered sealed in the underground ruins for untold ages. A group known as the “Order of the Glittering Star Cross” attempts to remove the seal by abducting a girl named Wako Agemaki, who they dubbed the “shrine maiden” and is the key to activating the robot. A boy named Takuto Tsunashi arrives with his own Cybuddy named Tauburn to rescue Wako. Thus begins a struggle to unlock the secrets of the advanced technology and prevent disaster.

Thoughts: Looks alright just from pictures have yet to see a trailer but its made by Bones and that’s good enough for me, but very odd mecha designs hopefully it turns out to be a interesting show not expecting it to be mind blowing of course.

Motto To Love-Ru

Lala returns for more crazy fun!

Summary: Not much is known sounds like a new adaptation of the original manga kind of a restart to the series.

Thoughts: I really enjoyed this series the first time around and the ova/specials were nice too only complaint was the ending of the series kind of drops you right there, so hoping this series does something for the fans but not really going to hold my breath on that. Lala was always a fun character to watch I do remember laughing more than caring about the characters much, course this show tends to be more fan service than any real plot but always was mindless fun.

Chances of blogging it: Low probably just watch this one

Sora no Otoshimono: Forte

Now with blonde angel girl! should be some fun...

Summary: Forte is just the sequel of the original series appears to introduce a new character to this series.

Thoughts: I also enjoyed this series for the more comedy filled sections of the show it does have lots of fun and unique characters, Ikaros was kind of a slow character until the last two episodes when she changed but then returned to her old self near the end. Nymph was a surprise for me she was kind of a fun character to watch too seeing her warm up to people but also seeing her somewhat sad story, as for the new girl not sure what shes like but like most shows like this much like To love ru might just be a comedy filled show.

Chances of blogging: Low might just watch this too.

To Aru Majutsu no Index2

Can't go wrong with more Index and Railgun ;)

Summary: Sequal to Toaru no Index lets hope they have more fun action scenes and some plot for Index herself.

Thoughts: First time seeing the first season I thought it was going to be a really boring show, Index’s character was kind of fun to watch and how she acted around others with her cute personality. And of course the over powered Toma character aka “mr unbeatable” but I found him to be a great character too. From the trailer it looks like we have more mini boss types appearing and a few returning characters too and some Railgun appearances too =D can’t wait for this.

Shinryaku! Ika Musume (The Invader Comes From the Bottom of the Sea!)

She just wants to love you! well...lets hope she does!

Summary: The sea in our world has been polluted. All sorts of trash were thrown into the sea, making it unpleasant deep under the sea. One of the inhabitants of the sea, Ika Musumend herself slaving away at one of the nearest beach-houses for breaking a side of its wall. (Squid Girl) seeks to exact revenge on humanity for throwing trash into the sea. Clueless about the surface, she seeks to invade humanity alone, trying to rule over the world, only to find herself slaving away at one of the nearest beach-houses for breaking a side of its wall.

Thoughts: Looks like a fun comedy show from the trailer seems odd to have a beach like show during the fall though but hey it works, character designs look nice but not expecting much from this show other than a few laughs here and there.

Chances of blogging this: Low probably watch a few episodes to see how it goes.

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (Yet the Town Keeps Going)

And no there are no tiny maid girls!

Summary: Clumsy Arashiyama is a girl with a love for mysteries and a knack for getting into trouble. She works for an old lady’s lackluster maid café in a small shopping district. The cafe is largely unsuccessful in attracting customers aside from Sanada, a regular and one of Arashiyama’s classmates (who has a secret crush on her). One day Arashiyama’s clever friend Tatsuno is invited to the café, and, upon seeing the miserable state of things (and Sanada, whom she has a secret crush on), decides to work there. Don’t miss the crazy antics of Arashiyama and friends, mismatched love stories, and all the hilarity that is created as a result, in Sore Machi.

Thoughts: Looked like a fun show to check out! will have to see a few episodes to see if it keeps my interest

Now onto the OVA section!

Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~

More fun with these characters! and her lonnngggg scarf.

Summary: The OVA adaptation Yozakura Quartet: Hoshi no Umi is created by Tatsunoko Production – unlike the 2008 TV anime series created by studio Nomad. Also unlike the TV series, the OVA will completely follow Suzuhito Yasuda’s original supernatural action manga. The original cast, however, are returning for this project.

Thoughts: I enjoyed the series although it was really really slow for plot and story lines it had a few cool characters I really enjoyed the different powers some of the characters had, mostly the glasses girl and her summoning abilities and the blue haired girls special ears! can’t wait to see what happens! it looks to be a retelling and new character designs too.

Chances on blogging this: Don’t really review movies maybe I will take a crack at a mini review when it comes out so maybe.

Air Gear: Kuro no Hane to Nemuri no Mori – Break on the Sky

Yay more crazy stunts and tricks!

Summary: The single-episode OVA Air Gear: Kuro no Hane to Nemuri no Mori – Break on the Sky is created by studio Satelight, based on the Air Gear manga authored by Oh! Great (Ougure-Ito), and featuring the “Ikki vs. Ringo” face-off from the manga’s 16th volume.

Thoughts: Loved Air Gear! really fun show but hated the ending of the anime series, should have checked out the manga but I am lazy when it comes to that. Can’t wait to see what this ova does for the show would love to see another series come out but not sure.

Chances on Blogging this: Low but who knows! depends how much I enjoyed it.

.hack//Quantum

Yay more .hack! but I really hope the "kite" person is a chick O_o; no dude wears socks that high xD

Summary: Tobias, Mary, and Sakuya challenge the impregnable “The One Shin”, but they lose their way in the maze and unintentionally trap other guild members. A mysterious cat is watching their blunder. Is it another player character or NPC?

Thoughts: I am really a big .hack fan not mostly due to my love for the MMO market, the trailer had some amazing visials mostly the dragon the characters this time are a bit different but it works for me. Black rose with long hair looks so strange to me..as well as the Kite look alike with twin tails? anyway can’t wait to see this one too.

Chances of blogging this: Hmmm possible! have to wait and see.

Mirai Nikki

She looks cute..just don't look at that knife...and she won't kill you.

Summary: Middle school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary. Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru’s miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus’s successor.

Thoughts: Saw a trailer was thinking Elfen Lied and Higiarashi looks to be a horror theme Ova so expect lots of blood and people being cut up also Eden of the east with the whole phone use. Will be a interesting one to check out yay for animated gore lol…

Chances of blogging this: Low might just be more for watching we shall see.

Bleach – Jigoku-hen movie 4

Ichigo goes to hell!

Summary: “HELL”. is the place where a person is sent to who committed violent crimes when they were alive. SHINIGAMIs are forbidden to go there. One day prisoners revolt and make their escape to the KARAKURA-town where Ichigo and his friends live in. Ichigo and his friends are defeated one after the other by prisoners with overwhelming power. A mystery man appears who comes to their rescue. With him leading the way Ichigo, Rukia, Uryuu, and Renji marches into HELL to save the world.

Thoughts: I am a really big fan of the Bleach movies even thou I already know every ending to them with Ichigo saving the day but still fun to see a hour + movie with my favorite characters. Like most movies like the Bleach ones they typically never ever follow the plot to the series, meaning you can pass on the movies and still understand bleach witch works for fans and non fans of the series.

Chances of Blogging this: Depends how much fun the movie is most bleach movies are Zzzz but mindless action so maybe

Well that’s all I really have to show and talk about! these are shows I will probably watch a few episodes of them and see how they go there was not much in the fall line up that looked amazing series wise, lots of movies and ova’s to watch that’s mostly what I am looking forward to. HotD 07-Big trucks and zombies don’t mix.

Nom nom nom nom, zombie fail.

Episode 7 review!

Welcome back to moar High School of the Dead! today’s episode follows our team of survivors, we pick up with the girls taking a bit of a rest even Saeko makes lunch for them while Hirano and Takashi keep look out. While watching some survivors get eaten alive Takashi spots a father and daughter escaping some zombies, but something isn’t well with Takashi as he watches from a far as the father tries to beg for help outside a strangers house only to be denied being helped. They do open the door for them but the girls dad is stabbed by one of the home owners who repeats forgive me over and over as he slowly dies. ( pretty sad scene T_T ) After that bit of sad factor Takashi and Hirano wanna save the girl so they plan a rescue mission, Saeko did warn him not try and save anyone but she gives into his crazy idea anyway. ( that’s why your awesome Saeko! ) With a bit of help from Rei and Saeko the plan is set to save the girl, with Hirano taking out the zombies while Takashi drives like a madman down the street ( we do get some great music during this very cool !! )

While Takashi plays hero the others prepare the Jeep to recover their friend from danger, he arrives and saves the little girl ( voiced by Azusa from K-On!! by the way! ) Takashi helps the girl say her final good byes to her father ( more sadness T_T ) Takashi then has a crazy idea to walk with the girl on his back and carry the dog and do a balancing act on some walls with a horde of zombies to his left, the little girl on his back eventually has to well pee without being able to hold it she well goes right there ( poor Takashi…loll! ) The next few scenes are probably the coolest next to Takashi’s extreme bike stunts, with the hummer they plow through the zombies with some help from Hirano’s shooting and Saeko’s sword skills they save Takashi and the girl who’s named Alice ( hmm Resident Evil movies anyone?? xD lol jk ) The episode comes to an end with Takashi wondering how they will cross the river to return to their friends and family.

Final thoughts!

Great episode this week a good mix of action,drama and some fan service this week and the introduction of another character with Alice and the useless dog too. Was a bit sad watching her dad die right in front of her even thou I do know why they did it only to “protect” themselves but still…what a bunch of asses! =( Takashi was great as usual in the episode too showing he is a bit wreck less but a true hero, same for Hirano but I always think he was cool even in manga form. Got to see more of Saeko that is always a great thing for me lol not really a big Rei fan but shes alright, I also like Saya during this episode she wasn’t her whiny self which is always a plus. Next week looks to be more action and some story hopefully! can’t wait to see more, thanks for commenting!

Sanya and Eila cute pair!

Episode 6

Welcome back to more magic and cute girls! today’s episode follows the quiet Sanya and the somewhat hyper Eila, we get to see them grow a bit closer and learn more about them. We start out with the girls fighting some neuroi drones only to find the true form to be a large tower that does all the way up into the stratosphere where the striker units can not make it past without a bit of assistance. ( starting to get a eva feel from this weekly with the odd Neuroi designs ) Enter the rocket booster! this handy addition to the Strikers allows them to break into the stratosphere easily but Mio wants Sanya to lead in the attack this time, her weapon seems to be perfect for the job but Eila gets a bit jealous when Mio assigns Yoshika to protect Sanya instead of herself. Eila hasn’t used a shield in any battle so this adds to her not being selected for the special mission.

Before the mission can begin Eila and Sanya have a bit of a fight calling each other dumb and stupid mostly due to Eila being so protective over her friend she doesn’t like seeing her working with others, which was the same in the first series as well. With the mission sounds easy enough as the girls form a pyramid, much like space shuttles of today a series of rockets falling off as the others kick in to give them a boost in three phases. ( which looked really cool! ) with the first two phases clear Yoshika helps Sanya but at the last minute Eila gets desperate and wants to take Yoshika’s place instead which she gladly switches spots for her and lets the two go ahead. ( aww good work Yoshika! ) Sanya and Eila take care of the Tower-roi and make their way home after both apologize for acting mean earlier. ( great music during that scene too fit very well ) The episode ends with both girls returning to the base and the rest of the team.

This weeks episode was really nice with some cute moments between Sanya and Eila, I did like Sanya in the first series she always was a mysterious character this time we get to see more of her. Eila was always super protective of Sanya in the first season too but guess its in her character since the two of them have always been together, I do enjoy seeing the various Neuroi’s each week like I mentioned it has a bit of an Evangelion feel to it with them much like the crazy angels. Next week looks to be a more comical episode and a new Neuroi the size of a tiny bug this time think it has something to do with some missing articles of clothing… much like first seasons missing pantsu themed episode so we can expect a episode like this next week. Episode 6

Hello! and welcome back to more fun with High school of the dead! today’s episode is half fan service and some interesting character development between Takashi and Rei, we start out with the girls getting ready for a bath after dealing with all that blood from the zombies. While they have fun in the showers Takashi and Hirano search through a weapon locker finding some impressive firepower ( which includes many illegal weapons! ) We also learn Hirano was trained by a professional on how to use almost any gun ( more cool points there! ) while they are loading the weapons the bridge seems to be getting more attention by the remaining survivors. The police are having a hard time dealing with the living as well as the dead, a few are protesting blaming the governments over a possible “biological weapon”. ( well…it has to be something!…)

After some fun scenes of Rei checking out the other girls ( she is awfully touchy feely with the girls!..) Shizuka comes out a bit “buzzed” it seems or to much time in the tub, she gets a bit close to Takashi wanting to do something ( hmmm geee wonder what that can be?..) She kisses Hirano on the cheek as a reward which he is quite pleased with. Rei walks out drunk like as well, and then Takashi leaves her to rest then sees Saeko in a revealing outfit but she seems alright not like the other two girls. While he talks to Saeko he hears Rei calling him as they sit together but she talks about her old boyfriend again this triggers Takashi to explode, he gets annoyed having to hear about him all the time. ( I think everyone agrees with him..at least I do) After that it seems Rei and Takashi start to grow closer, we don’t see them kiss but we can already assume they did kiss. Meanwhile on the bridge the cops have a bit of a struggle as the protests get louder and louder, the chief pulls his gun on the ringleader telling him to leave but he refuses and the chief has to “silence” him killing him in front of everyone. We end the episode with the cops telling the driver of the bulldozers to run into the remaining zombies to finish them off, the chief I think kills himself at the end too.

Well this episode was certainly one for fan service people that’s for sure, I didn’t mind it to much thought for sure it would have been worse but not to bad can tell this episode wont see the light of day on any cable network well maybe Syfy/sci fi channel. Nice to see Takashi and Rei kind of getting close although Rei isn’t one of my favorite girls she can be very annoying, and I am glad Takashi stood up for himself not letting her talk down to him but I can see her side as well she was kind of needy and lonely. Got to see where Hirano learned his weapon skills from seems very cool like I have said before its great to have someone like that on their side. Next week looks to be somewhat action filled and the addition of two new characters the Loli girl and a dog from what I can remember Hirano and the girl get close but more like a big brother/little sister thing she was a fun character after she calmed down. Moar Lucchini cuteness!

Episode 5 review!

Welcome back to more fun and world saving with the Strike Witches! today’s episode has Yoshika and Charlotte going shopping for some food and other things for the girls with their hyper Lucchini tour guide to show them around her hometown of Rome. ( surely nothing will go wrong..right? ) As they head to Rome Charlotte goes dukes of hazard with the army truck, speeding down the mountain side and even jumps the truck with Yoshika freaking out while Lucchini enjoys the wild ride with the reckless driving skills. ( well Charlotte is a speed freak..) They finally arrive to do some shopping on the list black tea,flower seeds, a pillow,radio,alarm clock and a dress for barkhorn’s sister Chris ( yes a strange list indeed..)

While picking up the items on the list Lucchini spots a girl being attacked by two men in black suits and rushes to her side, the two of them run off together and she learns this strange red head named Maria hasn’t seem most of Rome and Lucchini gives her a tour of the city. ( and they spend all the money on hats…and stuff!! ) They run into some kids who they treat to a shopping spree and food as well, while she is having fun Charlottle and Yoshika are looking for her but get side tracked eating cake. ( happens to anyone…sometimes..) Maria and Lucchini become friends but their fun is cut short when a Neuroi shows up to attack the city, with the help of the other girls they defeat the alien and return home. Lucchini is punished by Mio due to her spending all the money she has to hold buckets of water and stand outside. ( aww poor girl…) While she is outside the others listen to the radio where Maria gives a speech appears she is a princess or something like that, the episode ends with Maria saying thanks to Lucchini and a plane flies overhead and drops off several boxes full of food on top of Lucchini.

Final thoughts!

One of my more favorite episodes so far, lots of Lucchini screen time during this episode so definitely a fun one. She does seem to make friends very easily which isn’t always a bad thing shes just always happy, this was more of a laid back episode as well with a short fight and some comedy thrown in with Barkhorn and her dress for her sister. Which had me laughing and the part were Yoshika found a cat instead of Lucchini not to mention the whole driving scene to Rome pro tip don’t ride with Charlotte..ever! The animation for the city was great too nice to see the quality of artwork there, next week looks to be fun as well more combat time for the witches. Thanks for reading and commenting! =)

Episode 5 review!

Welcome back to more zombie killing fun! Today’s episode intrudes a new character Rika Minami she appears to be an expert sniper, as she is helping clear the runway from the zombies making it easier on the pilots to escape without any danger. Rika is also a good friend of Shizuka ( friend huh? seems like something else..many agree to this ) She is going back into the zombie infested city to find her. We then join everyone else back on the bus with Mr Shido’s speeches to the students ( loves talking with his hands too..) after a secret meeting they agree to escape the bus, not before Hirano shoots Shido with his nail gun leaving a cut on mr creeper’s face Hirano warns him he isn’t afraid to kill the living and Shido backs down from his treats ( Doing what everyone wants to do Hirano! good job )

We then join Rei and Takashi driving past some survivors who open fire on them, this proves to both of them no where is really safe they continue to drive through the city. Finding the bridge across the city is blocked off as the police have it under watch ( some gangsters get knocked off due to a water cannon..should have listened! ) While driving they hear familiar sounds of Hirano’s nail gun and quickly head to that direction, Takashi pulls off an amazing bike jump landing on the bridge to join his friends ( but what an awesome jump it was..) Hirano gets a hand gun from Takashi and Rei hops off to assist the others. Once Hirano gets his hands on a gun he is a amazing shot, not sure if its skill or hours of video games that help him with this. The episode comes to an end after the students hear of Shizuka’s friends place nearby as they discover a hummer and a large house, they proceed to take care of the zombies and make their way inside.

Final thoughts

Not a bad episode this week no recap this time! nice to see everyone working together as a team, highlights for me have to be Hirano threatening Mr Shido as they left the bus guess they both have some history between the both of them. Once he got a real gun he became great but I do wonder where he got all those gun skills, going to guess all the hours of video games might have paid off but who knows. The whole bridge fight was great lots of nice action shots, funny how they can do all of that but guess adrenaline and other factors help still quite awesome. Getting to see more characters added makes things exciting too Rika is a fun character, seems she is more than friends with the nurse tho so we will get to see what comes of that. Next week looks to be fan service for probably the first half of the episode with the bath scenes, can tell lots of fancy editing will be done on that to push the Dvd sales! well thanks for reading!

Strike Witches2-04 Shiney new toys!

Episode 4

Welcome back to more high flying fun with the Strike Witches! today’s episode has the girls trying out some a brand new Striker unit the Jet Striker, this seems like an advanced piece of equipment as Charlotte the “speed” witch wants to be the first to test it out but Barkhorn has other ideas. ( And its red! so that means it goes faster…) Before anyone can try it out Lucchini attempts to try it out herself, she quickly jumps away from the Jet Striker and runs off feeling something strange from it and tells Charlotte to not try it. ( did I mention they are lacking clothing due to heat? lol..) Barkhorn quickly tries it on and finds it to be quite powerful and fast it isn’t long before Charlotte and Barkhorn have a contest of speed and firepower but the Jet Striker seems to drain lots of magic from the user quickly knocking Barkhorn out after she crashes.

Barkhorn is then ordered to stay grounded and in her room and no one is allowed to try the Jet Striker anymore, it isn’t long before they are then attacked by a Neuroi that seems to be built for speed and quickly divides into several Neuroi. Mio gives Charlotte orders to take out the enemy but it gives her a bit of trouble due to its speed vs her, Yoshika and Lynette are watching over Barkhorn while the fight is going on however Barkhorn disobeys her orders and rushes to take the Jet Striker out and save Charlotte ( What breaking rules?! no wai..) With Barkhorn back in the sky she quickly defeats the Neuroi and saves Charlotte but she passes out as the Jet Striker drains her remaining magic as Charlotte then saves her and destroying the new unit in the process. ( damn can’t have anything new girls! sheesh..) With everyone safe and sound on the base Barkhorn has potatoes to peel ( do they still do this in the military today?? lol ) we are then introduced to a new girl the twin sister of Hartmann her name is Ursula she was in charge of the Jet Striker, the episode ends with Charlotte and Barkhorn fighting over a French Fry..yes a Fry..

Not a bad episode this week happy to see them trying out new types of Striker units and also them using new weapons, although the duel machine guns looked strange the massive Rifle looked really great in action. Lots of fan service this episode with the girls wearing less than normal I am sure most will be happy with that lol, I do find it funny when they introduce a new theme for the episodes the Neuroi is usually based around that, such as speed this episode and the Neuroi happens to be a rocket this time. Well that doesn’t happen all the time but I have noticed a few times, and getting to see another new character was kind of cool too even though they went the instant insert twin character here. Not much to really complain about in this episode, next week looks to be fun with Lucchini tagging along for the fun I could listen to her talk all day has a cute sounding voice lol. More stuffs!

Well I have shared my videos with you now time to share some of my artwork with everyone, I tend to draw my own characters while taking a few ideas off of anime or other comic shows I have seen. Rarely do I ever draw fan art but if I find a character that is interesting and fun and isn’t to complex to draw ill try to draw it my own way, even though in my head it looks better than how it comes out ( lol..) Just recently I ordered a Wacom tablet and started to draw more, in the past I would draw on paper and scan it and edit inside Gimpshop but now I use Paint Tool Sai and just draw from that. I hope to one day do my own manga but I tend to be far to lazy maybe when I improve a bit more, but for now I have more fun designing and coming up with new characters so here are some of my original characters.

episode 4 review!

Welcome back to for more zombies and fan service, today’s episode was kind of boring compared to the other three because they decided to do a recap of the first three episodes. (seems strange to recap so early..) The episode starts with Takashi and Rei riding together on the bike headed over a bridge, as they catch a passing jet who is snapping photos of the city. (real helpful…how about save some people?!) After a few recap minutes we join Rek and Takashi riding around the city looking for people, they pass a police car and decide to take the guns from the dead cops. Rei has some experience with guns ( I guess seeing one makes you a expert? ) leaving the car they then look for a gas station, with no money Takashi has to smash in the cash register to get some cash and has a fun time smashing it up. While Takashi smashes things up Rei has a bit of a problem outside, she makes friends with a unfriendly person some wanna be gangster. ( look at them grills..yo…)

The new friend is a bit of a crazy guy having just killed his whole family he isn’t quite right in the head. He holds Rei hostage ordering Takashi to fill the tank and let him take the bike ( ya right…you are nuts!) While holding Rei the guy has a bit of fun with her grabbing at her chest, this doesn’t make Takashi happy at all as he quickly pulls out the gun and aims point blank at his shoulder. Wasting no time at all he pulls the trigger and saves Rei and they leave him to the horde of zombies, driving past as they talk hours later realizing things like this might happen more so they have to be careful around the dead and now the living. The episode ends with the jet flying by snapping the photo of them riding on the bridge.

Kind of a boring episode for me and a bit of a huh? as far as the flashback so early in the series, I would have thought later but guess they want to keep you in the story? unless you forgot what was going on lol. Seems Rei and Takashi have some things to still get over still butting heads over small things, but he does care for her after all he killed another living person to save her that should shut her up…maybe? can tell they really want your money with the edited “grope” scene makes you wonder how far they will push the fan service factors. But next week looks to be more action filled this time, well thanks for commenting!

Someone is having to much fun?

Episode 3 review!

Today’s episode picks up with Yoshika,Perrine and Lynette needing some much needed training after the first season they have gotten a bit lazy and require some old yet effective training. (and by old I mean brooms! ) Mio sends the girls away to receive some special training from an old woman, who happens to be Mio’s original teacher back when she was training to be a witch ( old lady is grumpy too..) Perrine of course hate this training thinking it is a waste of time, Yoshika seems excited to train but also is like Perrine not sure how this will help. They are soon given brooms and told to fetch some water from a well only using the brooms and some buckets, guess if they want a bath they got to get water for themselves. The old woman watches them fail horribly the first time on the brooms and shows them how easy she can do it ( such a show off…)

Eventually the girls get the hang of it after some forced fan service shots of the brooms rubbing against the girls, before they can celebrate their victory over the brooms they are attacked by a Neuroi ( always gotta show up when things are fine…) with no time for reinforcements it’s up to the three girls to defend the small island and the old woman’s house, they make quick work over the alien after doing a three person attack with Lynette sitting on top of Yoshika’s shoulders double teaming the Neuroi. ( hey it worked in season one do it again!) with the Neuroi defeated they pass the old woman’s test and return to base to rest, the episode ends with Yoshika,Perrine and Lynette sharing a bed and catching up on some much needed rest.

Final Thoughts

So far I really have enjoyed this second series aside from it being a bit slow, but it works so far for this type of show cant have them fighting every time. Was interesting to see them training with brooms rather than the Striker units so that was cool seeing them using their witch powers in that way, next to all the uhh fan service with girls with no pants on brooms. They did censor a few of the shots which was a bit weird to see since he first episode they weren’t trying to hide much, guess they want your money for uncensored episodes. Next week looks to be fun seeing the other Strike Witches doing things rather than Yoshika 24/7 So thanks for reading and leaving comments!

This episode has epic bus jumps!

Episode 3 review!

Today’s episode has us following the everyone as they plan the next move, to actually leave the school and find any survivors that may still be around. Takashi leads the group to eventually run into another Group ( they should be known as team B.. ) With team B joining forces with Takashi’s group they attempt to leave the school, but Saya wants to test her theory of the zombies attack patterns. As Rei and Saeko protest him leaving to test if zombies indeed attack by site or sound, he walks down and stands in the room full of the flesh eaters and proves Saya’s idea to hold some facts. ( remember she is a genius..with an attitude thou..) As they leave the school a idiot from team B screws up hitting his weapon on the railing and alerts all the zombies to attack the front of the school ( that guy is so fired…) So takashi and the others must battle their way through the hordes of zombies to make it to the bus so busty nurse woman can drive them. As they board the bus they hear the shouts of more survivors a teacher by the name of Koichi Shido ( really evil teacher! )

As they run to the bus Mr Shido actually kicks a student to make his escape saving his own life, Rei has some personal issues with this teacher and informs Takashi he will regret saving him. ( sounds like he’s not teacher of they year material? ) With everyone aboard the bus they make a break for the front gate even plowing a few zombies in the way, they escape the school and head into the city. But things don’t seem to be all that great aboard the bus as Shido demands there be a leader named, mainly himself of course since hes the only teacher left he tells the students he will protect them. ( Riiggghhtt just like that other kid…) Rei eventually jumps out of the bus once it stops and Takashi runs after her to talk some since into her but another bus full of hungry zombies comes out of no where and almost runs Rei and Takashi over. ( damn shes determined to get this guy killed! ) this bus rolls on it’s side and catches fire leaving them stranded on the other side of a tunnel, Takashi tells Saeko to meet him later at the police station. ( hmmm worked in RE2 i guess..kinda ) The episode comes to an end after Takashi is saved by Rei from a biker zombie that lost his bike, they find this bike and ride into the city together as the end music kicks in.

Final thoughts

Great episode this week with lots of action and more Rei being overly dramatic over everything, wondering what her deal with Mr Shido is but I can assume we will know full well what his deal is I don’t remember much from the manga about him other than him being kinda creepy. Saya barked orders as usual but was not as bad as she was in the second episode, Takashi showed off some great leader skills taking on the task of testing Saya’s theory on zombies attacking due to sound. Seems like things are going smooth accept being separated at the end of the episode thanks to Rei being herself, like I said shes determined to get Takashi killed… gah stupid Rei. Next week looks to be uhh well good seems Rei makes some new friends! super! but they aren’t the good kind of friend, I am sure that will stir up some drama for Rei to deal with later. Ending song changed again not to bad wonder if each episode will get a new ending? might be interesting, thanks for reading and for the comments.
